——Alignment Tips——
For those without cameras in their laser (which is also me lol):
I had good luck lining it up on a honeycomb/without guides by framing the whole jig. If the long side of the jig is parallel with the guide light and the top side lines up, it ends up being very accurate ime. I do usually do a test frame/cut on a single pencil and then I’ll anchor the whole jig in place with magnets so I can make PENCILS FOR DAYS! MUAHAHA!
You can also use the jig files to line up all the text for the pencils to save time/headache
——Other Notes——
For my personal jig, I went a little ham and cut it from 1/8″ wood, then cut a second copy 1/16″ wood and glued that onto the back. Then I cut out the main shape again and glued that on the back to close it off. It’s… grossly overkill, but very sturdy lol.
